What Is Academy?
July 28-31 at Los Robles Hospital, Thousand Oak, Ca
Academy is a four day program for the new explorers who are accepted each year. Here, new explorers learn about the post, the roles they will play, how volunteering works and all of the skills they will need. These skills include taking vitals, Primary and Secondary Assessment, Stop the Bleed, and Hurry Cases. Complete Academy Attendance is MANDATORY for new explorers. Do not sign up if you know you have conflicts.
